Jeff modelling his new hat |
Woohoo, I am very excited to finally share my latest "knityourphd" hat!
This hat was designed for my friend Jeff, who recently defended his thesis in the physics department at Washington University in St. Louis. Jeff had a super cool thesis project that involved, among other things, determining what areas of the brain responded to different patterns and types of light presented the visual field. Jeff studied this using the red eared slider turtle as a model organism and uncovered several interesting insights about how the brain processes visual cues.

Congratulations on your PhD, Jeff! I hope you enjoy the hat!
